Using iAgeWell Rotherham

General info and tips for getting started with iAgeWell Rotherham.

What is iAgeWell Rotherham?

iAgeWell Rotherham is powered by the ADL Platform. The ADL Platform is a simple visual tool designed to help an individual and/or their family to understand how to shape progress against certain milestones (such as improving your performance with a certain task). By answering a few questions you can map your development against the ADL Platform and receive advice on any particular area of need.

The ADL Platform is designed to match you to products and services specific to your/your family member's individual needs. It is also a localised service, so any clinics and appointments made should be in a convenient location for you.

The ADL Platform is designed and managed by ADL Smartcare Limited. You can learn more about the ADL Platform and how it can help you here.

If you can't remember the exact date, please enter a rough timeframe that you think is close to the actual time. The date doesn't have to be precise, but they should be approximate to give a close-to-accurate representation. We use this information to determine which tasks are of greater need to you.

What does the flag icon next to the product names, tips and assessments mean?

The flag icon is a way of bookmarking a product or service for later. All of the items that have been "flagged" will be saved to your Tasks page - click on the Tasks link on the homepage to view.

I've forgotten my username or password

If you have forgotten your password, you will need to reset it to gain access to your account. You can do this on our Password Recovery page here. Your username is going to be the email address you used to create an account.

On the sign in page, what does the "Remember me?" tick box do?

If you tick the "Remember me?" box, your account will stay logged in. This is only recommended for private computers i.e. a personal computer at home (private) as opposed to a free-access computer in the library (public). Your account will only be logged out if you click the "sign out" button (shown on every page in the menu area) or if you clear your computer's cache. For more information on how to clear your computer's cache, please visit the "Refresh Your Cache" website (external link).

If you do select the "remember me" option, please take care to ensure that you don't leave your computer unattended with sensitive information on the screen. It is recommended that you don't enter sensitive information (such as personal details) into a website whilst browsing on a public computer: a public computer may have been tampered with, whereas you can be more certain of the security of a private computer. It is also a good idea to ensure that the browser doesn't record the data you enter, such as saving your details to auto fill into a form later. Microsoft has a guide on safe useage of public computers here (external link).

the ADL Platform is not responsible for any breach of privacy caused by public computer usage.

Currently, if you would like to delete your account you will have to contact the creators of the ADL Platform, ADL Smartcare Ltd, through the contact page (external link). Please include the nature of your request, the email address you signed up with and your contact details. Your request should be dealt with within 2 working days.

How do I add additional users to my pro account?

You can add additional users if you have a professional account with the ADL Platform. Additional users can be added through the My Account page by clicking on the "Add or Edit Users" button and then by selecting "Add a New User" on the following page. You will need the permission of the other person before entering their details and using the ADL Platform on their behalf.
